1:1s provide personalised attention, feedback, and guidance, fostering professional growth and development for individuals.
We recommend that you use Mesh to set up a 1:1 with your colleagues to make them insightful and habit-forming.
You can create a 1:1 via multiple ways on Mesh.
Creating a 1:1 from the Mesh homepage
To share create a 1:1 from the homepage,
Step 1: Hover on the Add button at the bottom of the left-side navigation panel.
Step 2: In the options that follow as a dropdown, select Add a 1:1.
The Create 1:1 panel will open up.
Step 3: Add the name of the colleague.
Your relationship with the colleague(Peer/ Manager / Reportee / Skip-Manager / Skip-Reportee) will be auto-populated.
Step 4: Select the date, time and duration of the first occurrence.
Step 5: Select the frequency of the 1:1s.
After selecting the date (assuming the selected date is a Friday), you can see 4 options :
- Weekly on Friday
- Biweekly on Friday
- Monthly on Friday
- Custom: Allows you to set the frequency on a weekly or monthly basis
Step 7: Click ‘Submit’ to create the 1:1
Syncing your Google/Outlook Calendar
In case you have not connected with your Google or Outlook calendars via our calendar integration, you may find the option to sync the same.
This is a one-time step that syncs Mesh 1:1s automatically and instantaneously when you reschedule from your Google/Outlook Calendars.
Creating a 1:1 from the 1:1s page
You can also create 1:1s from the 1:1 page, where you can also access a list of the 1:1s that have been set up with your colleagues.
To create a 1:1 from the 1:1s page,
Step 1: Navigate to manage team 1:1s
Mesh Home → Me → 1:1s → Choose intent 'I want to manage 1:1s'
Mesh Home → Me → 1:1s → Choose intent 'I want to manage 1:1s'
Step 2: The 1:1s Manage page will open, showing a list of your 1:1s with your manager and peers for a specified timeline.
Step 3: Click on Add new
The Create 1:1 panel will open up.
Simply follow steps 4 to 7 in the section above to set up a 1:1.
