Across all the modules, several notifications on Mesh are sent through Email and/or Slack/MS teams.
There are certain critical emails you will receive regardless of your email notification configurations on Mesh. As the name suggests, these emails are sent when something needs urgent attention or action.
While you can unsubscribe from other email notifications, these emails will always be sent to ensure you don’t miss out on important information regarding your goals, reviews, 1:1s, feedback, and engagement.
Here is a list of events critical emails are sent for:
For Reviews:
- Review cycle launch announcements: An email is sent when a new review cycle is launched that you are a participant in.
- Review completion reminders: An email is sent as per the schedule set up by the admin to remind you to complete pending reviews.
- Reviews pending on you: An email is sent when your manager or peers trigger a reminder for you to complete a pending review.
- Publishing reminders: An email is sent when reviews are published, or actions are pending on you to publish reviews further.
- Review Acknowledged: An email is sent once the review is published asking you to view and acknowledge the review result.
For Goals:
- Goal check-in reminders - An email is sent when you haven’t checked in on your goals as per the check-in schedule set up by your company admin. When goals are set up, the admin chooses a frequency (e.g. weekly, fortnightly, monthly) for goal check-ins. You receive this email if you miss checking in on your goals as per your schedule.
For 1:1s:
- 1:1 calendar sync failure - An email is sent in case there is an error syncing your Google calendar or MS Teams calendar with Mesh.
