Once a manager review is submitted, review results can then be shared with the employee. Admins can either share review results with employees themselves or enable the setting that allows either admins or their managers to share results with them.
This approach not only enhances communication throughout the organization but also streamlines the review process, leading to increased efficiency.
Mechanics of sharing results
As an admin on Mesh, you should be able to see two different categories for publishing review results, provided there is at least one employee meeting the individual criteria for each category. These are
- Enable managers to share results to employees → This action allows you to share the results with the managers of selected employees. Employees that do not have a direct manager linked to them on the platform would automatically be placed in either category 2 or 3 based on the statuses of their reviews.
- Share results to employees → This action allows you to share results directly with an employee. Employees with completed manager and self reviews and no direct manager would appear here. Employees who have a direct manager would also appear here in case the admin would like to share results directly for one or many employees without sharing them with their manager first.
- No action → Employees in this category would either have one or more of their reviews pending or results would have already been shared with them. In any case, employees would only appear in the first two categories if they have completed reviews and results aren’t already published to them.
Sharing results with managers as an admin
Step 1: Go to the My Company page and reviews module: Company → Reviews
Step 2: Select the employees you want to share results with from the list on this page
You can also choose to select all employees using the ‘Select all employees’ button
Step 3: Click on the ‘Share results’ button from the action menu at the top of the list. This would open the ‘Share results’ panel with further options.
Step 4: In the panel, you’ll find three sections explaining the available actions.
Step 5: Choose the ‘Enable managers to share results with employees’ option and proceed by clicking ‘Next’
Step 6: Review your selections in the summary window, then check the confirmation box and click ‘Share’ to share the results with managers.
Now, managers with access to these shared results can proceed to share them with their respective team members. You’ll also notice the status change to ‘Published to manager’ for the selected employees on pages like My Company, Org Tree, or Team.
Sharing results with employees as an admin
Step 1: Go to the My Company page and reviews module: Company → Reviews
Step 2: Select the employees you want to share results with from the list on this page
You can also choose to select all employees using the ‘Select all employees’ button
Step 3: Click on the ‘Share results’ button from the action menu at the top of the list
This action will prompt a window with further options
Step 4: In the window, you’ll find three sections explaining the available actions
Step 5: Choose the ‘Share results to employees’ option and proceed by clicking ‘Next’
Step 6: Review your selections in the summary window, then check the confirmation box and click ‘Share’ to share the results with managers
All set! Employees who have received shared results can now access and acknowledge them from the My Reviews page. You'll notice that for these specific employees, the status on pages like My Company, Org Tree, or Team will change to “Published to employee,” visible to both admins and managers alike.
