Competency settings
Admins on Mesh can decide how competencies are assessed for employees. This helps perfectly tailor competencies to your company’s unique needs. It also helps leaders and admins understand the granularity and depth of impact on each competency.
There are four options available in this regard -
- Disable competencies - admins can choose to disable competencies for their organisation, in case they would not like to use them.
- Organisation-wide competencies - this option helps you set a uniform set of competencies for all employees in your company, irrespective of function, grade, or role. This presents a unified approach to performance assessment across the entire organisation.
- Function specific competencies - this enables admins to tailor competencies differently for different functions. Allowing them to ensure performance assessment takes into account distinct requirements for separate functions.
- Function and role specific competencies - this option takes the granularity one step further, allowing admins to fine-tune performance assessment by customising them based on both function and role.
