If you recently worked with someone for the first time or learned a new skill, you can request feedback from your peers, managers, or anyone else in your organizational network. Here’s how you can do this:
- To navigate to requesting feedback, click on Me on the left pane and click on Competencies under the portfolio section. Under intents, click on I want to manage feedback pending on me.
- Click on the Share/Request button on the right side of the screen, above the area where all the feedback is shown.
- Click on Request feedback. Type the name of the person from whom you wish to receive feedback and select their name from the drop-down list. You can also select multiple people to request feedback from. You can request feedback for yourself, or your direct reports. You can set the visibility of this feedback to receiver and manager, only receiver, only manager, or even as a note to yourself.
- You can also add some additional details regarding the task or situation on which you want feedback in the space provided below the visibility settings.
- If the feedback is related to a particular goal, you can click on Add Related Goal below the competencies. On the goals details pane that opens, you can select a particular goal/key result that you are tagged to. Click on Save.
- When you’re satisfied with the feedback request, click on Save to send the request.
Note: You can request feedback from multiple intents under Competencies including I want to manage feedback pending on me, I want to view feedback received by me, I want to view feedback shared by me and I want to view my feedback requests.
