The "Elements" section in the review creation process is where we set up the fundamental components of the review cycle. This includes templates for different types of reviewers, how goals work within the review cycle, and any custom settings for specific "Views" if you opt for different settings for various subsets of users.
Templates
You can assign different templates (with different or same questions) for all reviewer types. Once added, you can also preview a template to make sure you’re using the right thing at the right place. If you do not have a pre-created template, you can either use one of Mesh’s recommended templates created by out People Science Leaders or, you can create one from scratch.
If you’re new to templates, learn more about creating and using them here.
Goal Review Settings section
Using configured weights or equal weights for goals
For a participant in a review cycle, it is likely for them to have more than one goals where they are owners or collaborators. In such cases, Mesh enables you to assign weightage to each goal.
This weightage is assigned through the goal weightage panel by the employee, employee’s manager, and an admin from the ‘Goal Weightage’ panel.
When creating a review cycle, you can choose to use this assigned weightage for each goal or equally weigh each goal with regard to the review cycle. This weightage and scores provided to the employee for each goal is then used to calculate their overall goal rating.
