Creating a template has several parts to it. This article covers all of them. You can also use pre-generated Mesh recommended templates, made by our People Science Leaders. These cover the most essential bases and are easy to implement.
Template title
This is the name you give to your template when creating one from scratch.
Template structure
A template typically has three sections
- Goals
These include questions based on goals (on Mesh) of the reviewee. Goal questions would only work if the said reviewee has any active goals in the review period of the cycle. You can choose to add questions to this section in that case.
In case of no questions, this section does not appear in the reviewee’s form for any type of review (seld, peer, manager etc) - Competencies
These include questions based on competencies set for the reviewee’s role on Mesh. If a user has any active competencies on Mesh, enabled for their role you can choose to add questions to this section. - Overal questions
This section is for all other questions. These are typically used for descriptive behavioural questions and promotion/appraisal decision questions for managers. Mesh gives you a recommended set of questions to directly plug into your template
